Congratulations to Dennis (Schooner author) on the hard fought tournament victory. :)

Thanks to those who took an interest in the tournament. It was nice seeing some of you in the broadcast chat.

This is Schooners best tournament win so far. For years I have admired Texel, Arasan and Nemorino, and watched them defeat Schooner on the ICS. I have spent hours studying their games. Now I am in awe watching Schooner surpass them. The down side is that Schooner can now have the stuffings knocked out of it in Division 1.

At the current moment, there is no stronger version for Schooner available. I have been improving features such as polyglot book, syzygy end game table bases, style changes, pondering, mate-finding, epd testing, UCI commands, SSE and BMI2 instructions. Android and Linux are still on the list to look at. However, there are no improvements that will make any difference to CCRL testing.
