Question for Graham
Any possibility that Shredder Classic 5 will be tested? I ask because it's surprisingly strong. My guess is it's similar to Komodo 4 in strength.

I don't have that engine as far as I'm aware.rcmaddox wrote:Any possibility that Shredder Classic 5 will be tested? I ask because it's surprisingly strong. My guess is it's similar to Komodo 4 in strength.

Re: Question for Graham
To answer your question: it is much stronger than Komodo 4 and based on my data it is en par with Komodo 6.rcmaddox wrote:Any possibility that Shredder Classic 5 will be tested? I ask because it's surprisingly strong. My guess is it's similar to Komodo 4 in strength.
(Shredder Classic 5 is not too much weaker than Shredder 13)
The whole data is from GURL-2 which is based on GURL by Vincent Lejeune. You'll find more info about it on my site and via a search for GURL in the forum here.

Re: Question for Graham
Gerhard, thanks for your posts. I bought Shredder Classic 5 because I wanted the latest Shredder GUI. I was so impressed with the SC5 engine that I upgraded to Deep Shredder 13!
