nTCEC Season 1 – Stage 2b starts March 11th at 14:00 UTC+1.

Stage 2b is a double Round Robin consisting of 8 chess engines, with a total of 56 games.
Each pair will play both sides of the openings.

The top 4 will move on to Stage 3, while those finishing 5-8 are out of nTCEC for the current Season.
Stage 3 will start 2-3 days after Stage 2b is finished.

The list of participants for Stage 2b:
Vitruvius, Gull, Chiron, Komodo, Shredder, Scorpio, Quazar, Hannibal

nTCEC is using 150m + 60s per move for the whole game, running on an Intel Core i7 3770k @ 4500 MHz.
Up to 3 cores can be used for engines capable of SMP.

Houdini, Rybka, Hiarcs and Stockfish already qualified for Stage 3 after finishing 1-4 in Stage 2a that finished a few days ago.

I haven't figured out the problem yet, unfortunately.

It is hard when so old browsers are used and I haven't had access to IE8 or XP for years.

I will continue to look into it though.

Never mind, I can follow without any problem on Firefox 19 or... on Ipad!

But I am surprised nobody else with XP (IE8 is the last IE on XP) mentioned a problem...

Hi Martin,

A little better on the right side of the screen:
Time Usage Graph
Depth Search Graph
Tablebase Access Graph
now can be seen,
and the Crosstable is there, at the bottom.

But the other 4 Show buttons are inoperative (message: there was a problem, IE had to close and reopen the tab)
and the Schedule, at the bottom, is not there.

The 4 inoperative Show buttons:

Chat Box
Evaluation Graph

But no more crashes, I think you are on the right track!

the button is now Hide (which is normal)

I pressed on that Hide button for the Time Usage Graph, the Graph disappeared and the button became Show (normal).
But now, that Show button has become inoperational!
