Sorry, but it is not Sting SF 2. :?
I can assure you that it is indeed Sting SF 2.

I try to imagine what should happen that engine which knows that it is draw,
[d] 8/6k1/8/7P/8/4KB2/8/8 w - - 0 62
by a few moves (!), shows gain. :?
A strange case (bug?).
Maybe, I can't be friendly, but let me be useful.

well, i thought it might have to do with tablebase probe scores being returned by the GUI, but that appears to not be the case

After one complete cycle against 13 other top programs, WOW, what an incredible high score for Houdini3 in this 8CPU tournament
21 out of 26 = 80,8%, at normal time control.

Thx Graham for tournament and Robert for Houdini

So Hiarcs seems to be the strongest from the oldies like Fritz, Shredder, Junior, and obviously also the contemporaries of those times which are not continued at all.
Hiarcs overlaps some of the "clones" too, which is a big achievement, if it itself did not benefit from clone technology, which caused a whole generation to get above Rybka 3, which was a big leap ahead, ever since Rybka 1 came out.
So Hiarcs is clearly stronger than Rybka 3, withOUT clone.

Frankly, I don't really know what all this means, however. But it sounds good.

Even if Hiarcs DOES now take whatever it wants to from Cloneworld, it hides behind the reputation that it does NOT.

to draw such broad conclusions after so few games is naive to say the least...
