Rondo, Shredder and Rybka first with 4 points. Junior
following and thinker too. Good for computer chess.
yeap and it looks like there gonna be a new killer version of Shredder around the corner....Long are gone the times of Rybka's domenancy....ooooooh yeah :D
Dr.D

P.S.Shredder's author delivers a solid 100-120 Elo improvement with every new release while Rybka's author comes with 20-30 Elo every 3 years or so....you can do your math when Rybka is gonna be surpassed....
As for the so called cloudy Rybka,I don't give a rat's a$$ frankly speaking....
I am not sure if you are right.

Rybka won the blitz world championship and it is also leading the WCCC together with Rondo so it has good chances to win it.

No Uri,I was talking about Shredder surpassing Rybka in the rating lists in the future, not in the WCCC 8-)

30: Rondo - Shredder, WCCC 2010 Kanazawa 2010

Rondos's 37. move was nice! Only under 5 min solution in my dual:

Analysis by Critter 0.80 64-bit:

37.Bxa6 bxa6 38.Nd7+ Ka7
+- (2.05) Depth: 19/80 00:02:18 303mN

It wouldn't surprise me if Zach has improved upon the king attack aspect in Zappa. His previous engine, ZCT, showed improving strength in that particular area.

Rondo suffers its first lose to Thinker in Round 8
thrusting 3 engines(Rondo,Shredder and Thinker) into a tie for second place behind Rybka with one round to go
Rybka need only draw its last game to win the Championship

In the final round ..Rondo will play Deep Junior( which is not having a banner tournament )and Rybka will face off against Shredder
Thinker will play Pandex

Anything Can Happen And Probably will Regards
