I think Connie has played the best possible move available here. Nice to see her fight.
With Connie you just never know
she can stumble into a seemingly good move but perhaps for the entirely wrong reason
the frustrating thing for me in operating her is that she does not show any anticipated line of play
not even the opponents reply..no score of the position ..no search depth...nada
i chose the Connie 3.6 in this game because i just acquired her in my collection and thought it would be a good way to test if she was in good working order
For the next game against Movei i am going to use the Saitek Prisma (rated about 1730 Elo) which shows the anticipated line of play 6 ply long (at 3 minutes per move) as well as the Score of the position and the search depth
not to mention i can turn it off and it will retain the entire game in memory

Perhaps, but it is pretty obvious she is threatening Nf3+.

I looked at Qh4 on Larry's previous move. I don't see anything wrong with it, but I'm not a particularly strong chess player either. I liked it because it is a direct threat (shows how shallow I think But it does seem to me to eliminate counter play more, without preventing Larry from winning the exchange.
Maybe what I'm missing is that it forces to the knight to be where it needs to be? I can imagine that Larry may not want the knight on g7.
Larry's choice is probably more anti-computer and there are many roads leading to Rome.

I play 44Qg3, defending the fork and attacking the knight. The main danger for me now is that I might end up in some queen and pawn vs. rook and pawns ending that could perhaps be a fortress draw. I'll try to avoid that.
