CEGT - rating lists June 28st 2009

Post by Werner »

Hi all :-),
our updated rating lists are now online and can be found under the attached links.

40 / 20:

This week we added 1442 games made with 40 different engines to our list. See more in our list "Games of the week". In total our 40/20 list is based now on 333.800 games. Our database was corrected as we have had errors in it.

New engines:

New in our list is Critter 0.39a with 2524 Elos after 400 games. The other new engine Toga II 1.4.6 JD 2CPU was tested accidentally as I mixed it up with version 1.4.2

Updated engines:

Code: Select all

58 Rybka 2.2n2 w32 2CPU 2935 +38 -38 168 games (still too less games like Rybka 2.2n2 w32 2CPU and Glaurung 2.2n2 w32 2CPU)
115 Toga II 1.4.2 JD 2CPU 2885 +31 -31 250 games (+34 but still behind 1CPU)
143 Onno 1.0.0 x64 2859 +16 -16 1059 games (now very close to 0.12.0 as awaited)
192 Onno 1.0.0 w32 2813 +26 -26 400 games (-5)
214 Ktulu 9.0 2789 +16 -16 1195 games (+6; close to our blitz result)
343 Chronos 1.9.6 2642 +22 -22 609 games (-12)
152 Jonny 3.08 4CPU 2850 +18 -18 933 games (+11)
40 / 4:

New games: 6.332
Total games: 489.272

Games of the week: http://cegt.foren-city.de/topic,67,-upd ... nline.html

New engines

Bright 0.4a 4CPU: 2987 – 400 (+46 to 0.3d 4CPU, +106 to own 2CPU which is a bit too much)

Ktulu 9.0: 2790 – 1002, similar results as we have in our 40/20 list - +18 to Ktulu 8.0.

Crafty 23.00 (CB): here we tested CB native engine and it looks like a big jump!

- 2CPU: 2719 – 500 (+81 to 20.14 CB)

- 1CPU: 2659 – 1500 (+65 to 20.14 CB and even in front of 20.14 with 2CPU!)

Delphil 1.9g: 2470 – 500 (+39 to 1.9e)

Tornado 3.02/3.05:

- 3.02 w32 2CPU: 2593 – 400 (+10 to 2.2)

- 3.02 w32 1CPU: 2509 – 830 (-32 to 2.2)

Looks like no great improvement. Then we started to test version 3.05 - and stopped these tests as we have had very bad results.

UPDATES

Chronos 1.9.6: 1050 new games (now 1700) with nearly no changes (-1)

Philou 2.8.0: 250 new games (now 500) with -9 ELO (2356).

A big „Thank you“ to all testers as usual! :)

Hi Werner,

if I calculate correctly, 2CPU (2885) is 21 points ahead of 1CPU (2864), but still too close together. I will add some more matches with 2CPU this week till my holiday.

Best

so you think so, the results say other by me or other tournament managers.

i dont know how do you testing... but the 2cpu is better then 2.2 ;)

do you also testing with 4CPU in feature, 3.xx now works with 4cpu without problems.

Engin, is there a reason 3.02 and 3.05 are 32-bit only ? I can't recall if 2.2 benefitted from a 64-bit compile or not
