hi graham,

i wonder that the king can be so much points difference by only change the options and without improvements in source at all.

strange for me.

Are there really "so much points difference"?
I wonder what would be the points with 20 times the same engine...

There's not a lot of strength improvement to be gained - perhaps 30 elo as an estimate.
I basically just test Chessmaster settings for fun and for the challenge of finding a top setting.
However, there's very little difference between any of the settings in this particular tournament. They are all proven top settings.

Cheers,
Graham.

Doesn't sound like fun checking that one out, but obviously you'd still get a spread, just a lot smaller I reckon.
