@Jorge:

I have unchecked games, but this is a problem with the castle?

Checks in ChessGUI you have configured "castling_OO" for the castle and checks in the danasah.ini file you has the line "gui chessgui"

Of course Pedro. Each time loss was after a castling. Jorge hasn't
configured castling correctly for Danasah.
I don't like to say it, but I have never seen correctly configured games
yet by Jorge. Bright games a few days ago were the same and I know
dozens of examples from the past.

It is not the castling nor identifying the GUI correctly, since the only problem that I had before was witth bright FRC. Here is a game where DanaSah 4.20 FRC does NOT contiue playing after Na6 was played by Tornado 2.2.

It seems you did not understand my message? I did not say the Bright
problems were the same _but_ that you also had configured something
wrong when playing your Bright games, of course you did something _different_ wrong at that time, like each time you showed some games here.

For Danasah it is still the castling, as Danasahs last move _was_ a castling move...and you can easily check your last chunk of games,
when it also was each time after a castling(of the opponent)... sigh...

Hi Jorge,

The problem is that you use danasah420UCI. This is only the version winboard of danasah with WB2UCI (I include this because there are many people who have heard talk of UCI but not Winboard) and WB2UCI not know Chess960 or FRC.

Use danasah420_WB.exe

As a result, DanaSah only can play FRC in GUIS with winboard Protocol and FRC support: Arena, Winboard F and ChessGUI. DanaSah may not play FRC in shredder or Fritz GUI.

It would be nice to have a WB2UCI with supported FRC as PolyGlot is for UCI2WB.

Best,

Pedro

@Jorge:

I have just played 200 games from 100 frc start positions, alternating colours.
Here is pgn: http://www.hugedrive.com/published/WG/s ... =-e796c584

Time Control was bullet "game/15sec".
DanaSah 4.20 FRC beat Tornado 2.2 32Bit by 121.5:78.5 !
There was no illegal move, no loss on time.

That ends my participation in this thread.

Matthias.

That's quite correct - the wb2uci adaptor does not support FRC
Which is why for all that time, using only Shredder GUI, I was unable to include ANY winboard engines on the FRC ratings list

Then of course ChessGUI was pointed out to me which supports UCI, Winboard, Shredder-FEN and X-FEN and that enabled me to finally pick up the winboard engines. So The Baron, Frenzee and DanaSah are now included for example
