New versions of Blue Marlin and Swordfish by Dorsz

Post by Eelco de Groot »

Versions 14.1 were on the Planet Rybka that is now sadly defunct and no longer accessible to its former inhabitants. The last survivors fled under the guidance of commander Adama to planet Earth. I will give no link because the Cylons are reading. But you know where to find it. Version 14.2 in AVX2 flavour of Blue Marlin runs fine on my computer under Shredder 11 but with 6 threads the CPU made a sound like it was taking off with Starbuck and Apollo from Battlestar Galactica. I had to shut it down because I only have my computer since a few days and I'm not sure yet it can actually fly. If it doesn't I'm stuck here. But the engine comes recommended.
Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first
place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you
are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.

I never understood why science fiction quotes the bible.
What seems like a fairy tale today may be reality tomorrow.
Here we have a fairy tale of the day after tomorrow....
