CQL 6.1

Post by nnnnnnnn »

CQL 6.1 is available at http://www.gadycosteff.com/cql/ . CQL is a program that searches for user-defined patterns of pieces or moves within PGN files.

Version 6.1 supports strings, which can be used for example, to parse engine comments or to interface to certain external programs.

The URL works for me. Perhaps there was a transient error. Can you try again?

Thank you, for me it now works only if I connect through VPN. Before that I contacted the authors and asked them to comment on if CQL utilizes the engine for evaluating positions as a part of discovering patterns in games.

CQL does not use an engine.
