Cluster engine

Post by jhu »

Does anyone have the experience with cluster engine?

I have two computers and want to run them in cluster with mpiexec. The only engines I succeeded to run in cluster was StockFish13-Cluster https://www.mediafire.com/file/vwzbx7zh ... r.exe/file , and SugarAI20-Cluster https://www.mediafire.com/file/gr5d507m ... m.exe/file but it seems that they do not run on full throttle. The nod/sec is not doubled.
I googled up for many hours but no go.

There was a scorpio engine that worked as a cluster.
Don't remember which version.
Colchess has a cluster version.

You are not going to get double speed with two machines using any of them.

But sharing ideas is an even greater virtue. We have another word for this. It is called teaching.
