Anyone know if the version below is the same one that is currently on TCEC? The one on TCEC says "12.89A_PRO_Cup_8"
Also, when I download it there is a 12.89snk version. What is "snk", should I use that one over the standard 12.89.exe?

Hmm, no clue why they added "snk" to it. It probably stands for something in Russian?JohnW wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 6:36 pm Anyone know if the version below is the same one that is currently on TCEC? The one on TCEC says "12.89A_PRO_Cup_8"

There are no public versions of Ethereal using it's own NNUE nets. So its not possible to get a copy of what was running at TCEC.

Nevermind, neither version seems to work from that download.
When I register from Arena I get a "libwinpthread-1.dll" was not found message.

You should ask the people at SDChess who compiled it, there is not even a readme with the download.JohnW wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 6:36 pm Anyone know if the version below is the same one that is currently on TCEC? The one on TCEC says "12.89A_PRO_Cup_8"

May be you can find out the difference in the uci id name, or in the uci options... (just type uci from cmd)
(I cannot do this for you, as those compilations are not static and even if they would be, I guess they won't run here)
Edit: I have never ever seen that three replies came already before I was typing to the end.

My tests with it will be published here: https://www.chess.com/forum/view/game-a ... e-fritz-17
