I do not know if people have been paying attention to what Ronald has been saying.
I think I agree with pretty much every thing he has said.
Which is to say, there is some special genius concealed here (TO ME, maybe not to you).
The man who wrote the code to give us FREE 7 man tablebase files speaks clearly, logically, rationally and succinctly on the pressing issues of our day.

I have sometimes wondered who is the greater hero, Ronald de Man or Bojun Guo.

I think that coin toss is hard to call.

But I ask everyone to read and think about what he has said recently.
That's because he is not just a hero. He's a genius.
I am really, really impressed.
If I had the money to fund a "heroes of chess" mount Rushmore sort of thing, Ronald and Bojung Guo would be chiseled in stone.
And Ronald is the George Washington.

IMO-YMMV
Taking ideas is not a vice, it is a virtue. We have another word for this. It is called learning.
But sharing ideas is an even greater virtue. We have another word for this. It is called teaching.

Not to disagree with RdM should be revered or anything.
But... since when do civilized discussions become acts of heroism?

I do not want to be known just as being reasonable.
