I don't agree about Hydra being top dog back then, it didn't even qualify for the finals in the first PAL/CSS (and it was running with two different machines/entries).

Great video, thanks. I bought Aquarium in the early days. Massively impressive product, but also incredibly buggy back then and also so complicated for my simple mind ! As you mentioned you would have to spend days watching all the tutorials and getting to learn what all the options are and how to bet use it. My new goal for my GUI (Tarrasch) is to at least make the "these GUIs didn't make the cut" scene in the next version of this video
