You reach a point where strength of engine doesn't really matter and results might actually be worse as the engine sees so much trouble way down the line. I mean think of it this way ... would it really matter the strength of the engine you played if you had a rook vs. king endgame and you had an engine that played perfect chess? With odds you reach a similar situation where Nakamura could basically force liquidation of pieces. Sure he might lose a few games but eventually he will find a way to have a forced setup that guarantees a win every time no matter what the engine plays.

I do NOT believe that, Plus you are comparing Apples and Oranges we are NOT talking here about a rook vs. king endgame and as you know it all depends on the strength and chess knowledge of the engine, for instance if GM Nakamura back in 2008 or 2009 was given a Rook Odds with the earlier version of Komodo back in 2008 at TC 2'+1" back then GM Nakamura could have beating Komodo easy, but 5 years later in 2014 or 2015 GM Naka would have lost horribly with Komodo having many more Chess knowledge and the same apply now, let say NOW GM Naka could beat Komodo with a Knight Odds at 1'+1" , but in the Next version of Komodo or by changing the defensive level of Komodo to put a great resistance or an impenetrable attack Komodo could easy draw versus GM Nakamura or Naka would simply lose on time.

Note: For the same reason I could probably beat Sargon 1978 depth4 by giving Sargon a Knight Odds, but if Sargon is upgraded and could calculate up to depth 10 or 12, then I would NOT be able to do it. As a matter of fact I will just try to beat Sargon 1978 at Depth4 by offering my Knight and I will post it later

Here is the game which I am very proud of, I am starting to see the benefit of the Book that my online trainer told me to purchase 6 months ago Chess Tactics from Scratch by Martin Weteschnik 2nd edition

The question is how to define chess strength of the engine.
I think that stronger does not mean choosing perfect moves that lose in more moves in losing positions but play moves that give better practical results.

For rook vs king endgame the only way that maybe a machine can draw not against very weak chess players is by hypnotizing the human to make stalemate but I know of no machine that can do it.

He would have a pretty difficult time even today, especially if it were a blitz match. Computers don't feel time pressure.
I'm nearly even with Dragon at 10' + 5" at knight odds now (MCTS or standard mode doesn't seem to matter much). I'm pretty sure that Nakamura plays better with 2' + 1" than I do with 10' + 5", so I'm pretty sure that he would beat Dragon at 2' + 1" (or 3' with no inc). Maybe 1' + 1" might be close to fair. I'm sure we can find ways to improve its performance under such conditions, but it's hard to imagine it ever coming out ahead in Rapid (as opposed to Blitz). Maybe if we make it Armageddon knight odds, where Dragon only needs to draw a piece down to win, then that becomes a realistic goal.
Larry, there are possibility of seeing similar match in the coming days?
Yes this would be a great idea to see if Komodo Dragon can at least draw = Win Vs GM Naka at 1'+1" Knight Odds
That would indeed be an interesting match, probably a close one. Another idea is to give the GM a big handicap initially, reducing it every time he wins a game. I think it makes sense to have a match whenever we release a new version of Dragon, so roughly quarterly.
Having many games with the same handicap would help to understand their value better. The problem is that I would give komodo as a slight favorite in knight odd in 1 '+ 1 "against GM naka, but if naka started playing many games with this handicap he could find a way to play better with the advantage, How did you do it, Larry, right? Once you have played many games to that handicap you got better results.

Here's a game between Komodo 1 vs Stockfish 12 given Komodo 1 knight odds @ 10'+5". I am not sure what the rating difference is between the two. I also tried so other games between Komodo Dragon and much older engines but Komodo never got a win, the best it did was a draw against Mephisto Dallas uci version.

Re: In ten years Stockfish or Komodo will beat Nakamura with Knight Odds

Can you post the draw Vs Mephito Dallas UCI which is more interesting, by the way what is the rating of Mephito Dallas Uci ? I saw a game on youtube where GM Nakamura gave a Queen Odds to a !600 player and lost horribly Just wonder if Komododo Dragon can win Vs any 1600 rated players from this Forum with a Queen Odds ?

That isn't knight odds, that is knight plus move odds. Knight odds means odds giver is White. Also, it is vital when Komodo (regular or Dragon) gives knight odds to set Contempt to a high value, at least 150.
