Leelenstein Chess Engine etc.

Post by Norbert Raimund Leisner »

Hello ,

what are the minimal requirements (hardware/software) to run this engine on win 7/10-64 bit operation system? Can it be only used on GPU or on a computer with CPU, too? I did not found download links of Leelenstein, except of v925.

A step-by-step explanation to install all necessary components would be useful.

If you have tested Allie and Chessfighter please let me know about a detailed instruction in the same way.

Regards,
Norbert

Fake news bud.

You pay for early access, otherwise, you can get whatever you like.

What should that mean? (not that I care much, though)
Where are all the downloads then, even older ones and older NNs, if you don't have to pay?

You may find opening that post you linked to very hard if you are not a paying patron.

You could download Leelastein from the main Leela website:

https://lczero.org/play/download/ for Leela
https://lczero.org/play/networks/bestnets/ for Stein

Does this mean 'Leelenstein' binaries don't exist anymore(? or never?) at all?
The links you show and the according binaries call them all LC0 themselves again...

So Leelenstein practically is just a different net nowadays and not even slightly changed LC0 binaries together with it?

This would answer the question of the OP that way: a Leelenstein chess engine itself does not exist.

Stein has always been a net for the Lc0 binary since its beginning.

Why didn't you tell then to the OP? I am completely uninterested in that thing at all.
