Tucano 9.00

Post by sedicla »

Hi,

Tucano 9.00 release is available for download at my github page: https://github.com/alcides-schulz/Tucano/releases (source code and windows binary). The readme file contains compile instructions for linux and ARM.

This version is about 70 elo stronger than v8.00 on fast time controls. It has several improvements to search and evaluation.

I am planning to continue working on Tucano, making improvements as a traditional AB search and hand-crafted evaluation. But, of course, also have to take a look on all developments related to neural network and machine learning. Anyways still early for anything concrete for Tucano, but seems very interesting and challenging.

Have fun!
