tomitankChess 4.2

Post by tomitank » Wed Sep 23, 2020 7:25 pm

Hi all!

Here is the new version of the world's strongest JavaScript engine! (probably the last)

IMPORTANT:
you can play against tomitankChess on your mobile device as well.

With following application you can play online too!

Free Android app: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sakk/id1150654415

Free iOS app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... hu.premium

Or in web browser: http://tanky.hu

What has changed?
--------------------------------------------------------
- revisited code
- rewrite pawn eval
- fixed a bug that's caused problem in IE
--------------------------------------------------------
Estimated strength: ~10 elo stronger than previous version.
--------------------------------------------------------
tomitankChess (with node.js) run in Arena, WinBoard and Cutehess as well.

Have fun with tomitankChess!

Maybe later i add some smaller patch to engine.. :)

Young family and job change have made time very restricted.

Really cool! Thanks for sharing!
Assuming CCRL rating - did it play versus C programs or versus JS programs?

I tested only against previous version (4.0) (only with 2000 games)
Unfortunately, I didn't have time.
It is maybe weaker against other engines than the previous version.
I hope not!
