Complicated endgame skirmish

Post by Nordlandia »

Black is certainly for preference here, though winning would not be straightforward, given his wrecked pawn structure and exposed king.

Stockfish dev at -1.5 while last leela at -0.50

Not seeing the progress in Forward- Backward with Black Diamond (Fortess Detection code) after few first simplifications

Pity, GUI was set at early giving in, so Cfish's (Use NNUE Pure) eval (maybe not the best choice here neither, just forgot to change when starting) stopped it already at -5.65. Blacky was 2.00 then, (evals stored in .pgn, have a look quoting it) so that's still undecisive.
Black Diamond's output then:

Guess Pawn and Bishop could be enough with the black Pawn being of the right colour against the three white Pawns, if Rooks will get traded off, but I still can't prove that to be forced. Could be a frotress still, even if Blacky doesn't judge it as such neither, problem still are the many pawn moves possible to not reach 50 moves boundary in horizon.
To my eyes it's just one more yaeeoJ (yet another endless endgame of Jon's).
:)
Output- eval is lower then at last move of Black Diamond's in game, but the end of the output- line is won for Black.

Looking forward to further investigations regards
Peter.

With changed colours Cfish (this time with Use NNUE Hybrid, which I just had forgotten to swich to last time) for Black's side made it much faster much clearer, even if GUI was set to giving up late this time:
