Syzygy DTM?

Post by MOBMAT »

I DL'ed the lastest version of Cfish and when I start it, it reports:

Code: Select all

FEN: 7k/8/1p1ppp1p/1Pp5/2P2P2/8/3P2PP/6K1 w - - 0 1
Cfish 2019:
Cfish 2019 by T. Romstad, M. Costalba, J. Kiiski, G. Linscott
Found 510 WDL, 0 DTM and 510 DTZ tablebase files.
Unable to allocate large pages for the transposition table.
0 DTM?? What does this mean? I didn't think Syzygy had DTM files?
Cfish has a UCI config options that states "SyzygyUseDTM". What does this do?

Use Syzygy DTM tablebases (not yet released).
