I quite like the Blunder Check function in Chessbase/Fritz but I noticed that contempt is handled in a strange way.
It seems that contempt is always applied, no matter what the analysis contempt parameter is (even if it is Off).
When calculating a score for White then the Contempt value is subtracted (!) not added; probably because the
evaluation is calculated after the White move from the game has been made - this leads to a whipsaw in valuations.
Does anyone have experience with this?

Just set Contempt to 0, not just Analysis Contempt.
