Orion 0.7 release

Post by David Carteau »

Another year, another release :)

I'm happy to announce a new version for my little engine Orion ! A lot of work, with a complete rewrite of evaluation function and tuning method. Orion now supports Syzygy tablebases and embeds its own KPK bitbase, both should help a lot in endgame phase. More details on my "blog", if you're interested (see signature).

I hope a 50-100 elo increase from the previous version.

Thanks David ....

I am not aware of your chess engine as I was away from the computer chess scene for a while now .....
Cheers,
