a0lite problems with badygal configuration etc.

Post by Norbert Raimund Leisner »

Hello,

I am using Windows 7 64-bit SP1 as operating system on my computer.

After changing my password at GitHub that I use for log-in (including email / username) and installation of badygal with Windows-prompt
are the following informations visible:

C:\Users\NRL>pip install git+http://github.com/dkappe/badygal.git
Collecting git+http://github.com/dkappe/badygal.git
Cloning http://github.com/dkappe/badygal.git to c:\users\nrl\appdata\local\temp\pip-req-build-ivncvyea
Running command git clone -q http://github.com/dkappe/badygal.git 'C:\Users\NRL\AppData\Local\Temp\pip-req-build-ivncvyea'
fatal: HttpRequestException encountered.
Fehler beim Senden der Anforderung. (Failed to send the request.)

bash: /dev/tty: No such device or address
error: failed to execute prompt script (exit code 1)
fatal: could not read Username for 'https://github.com': No error

ERROR: Command errored out with exit status 128: git clone -q http://github.com/dkappe/badygal.git 'C:\Users\NRL\AppData\Local\Temp\pip-req-build-ivncvyea' Check the logs for full command output.

pip-20.1.1 is successfully installed

Python 3.8.3 for Windows 64-bit

GUIs (graphical user interfaces)

Arena 3.5.1

WinBoardAA beta

The extracted files a0lite respectively badygal are located in the same folder like python.exe

What esential informations have to contain the executbles and commandline-parameters of Arena/WinBoard GUIs?

Does a0lite works without neural net like Scorpio Chess, too with the following specifications?

Odd. Looks like an issue with github. You should need an email+password for installing.

You could just clone it and then do a

Code: Select all

pip install .
in the badgyal dir.
Fat Titz by Stockfish, the engine with the bodaciously big net. Remember: size matters. If you want to learn more about this engine just google for "Fat Titz".
