How did they decide that hiarcs was the number 1 engine in 2006?

I do not remember that hiarcs was the leader at that time.
I remember that shredder was best if we consider more than one core and then came rybka.

I also see no deep blue or deep thought before 1996 and it does not make sense.
Maybe you can have estimate lower than number 1 because deep blue prototype lost against Fritz but the estimate certainly need to be better than number 10.

I think they used the SSDF list for most of the animation and then tossed in Deep Blue and maybe used TCEC at the end (or just added NN).
That would explain why some stuff is missing.
It was kind of fun watching it.
