There are now many online tournaments. How is cheating with engine prevented? I think is impossible.

It could be hard, but Don't they use an extra camera for the arbiter to constantly watch the entire room and if they see a cell phone or another electronic device where a friend could be sending them the best move then could be disqualified immediately.
