TCEC

Post by Krzysztof Grzelak »

What's going on with this tournament and website. I watched the game yesterday ScorpioNN 3.0.7.1 - Stoofvlees II a14. Nor did I see the end of this game, only the result of the game. Totally misunderstanding and massacre of the tournament. If this is how it is to look in the future, then thank you for watching the tournament.

The site seems OK for me.

It doesn't seem all right. Since such things are happening while watching.

TCEC gui is a bit buggy sometimes. I suggest you join the Twitch chat and ask there. People will immediately help and tell you what to do like refreshing page, delete cookies, use alternative site or whatever.

Please write as someone knows what version of the game is currently on TCEC. I'm talking about Stockfish 20200407DC. Where to download it. Thank you in advance for any information.

The source is here: https://github.com/Alayan-stk-2/Stockfish/tree/SuFi17
IIRC the version playing at TCEC is one commit behind this branch.
There is no binary to download, you have to compile yourself. Even TCEC has build the (Linux-)binary themself.
But I really can see no need to get this special version. It has just some "use contempt 24 when white, contempt 0 when black" code inside.
For current binaries: http://abrok.eu/stockfish/

Just use the abrok version corresponding to SF master, this branch is really not useful for anything outside of tournament play where settings can't be changed game-to-game.
