During this global crisis online chess is an ideal activity for those stuck inside, especially kids. How about encouraging friend to play chess on social media?

"If your kids are bored and stuck in the house, why not get them to play chess online? It'll keep their minds active and is (imho) far better than them playing video games from dawn til dusk. Kids can even play against their friends. It's also relatively safe since you don't play against locals (but use your parental judgment and monitor activity)."
