Post by dragontamer5788 »

AMD's CES presentation ended about an hour ago, confirming the 64-core Threadripper 3990x is confirmed at $3990 (lol), apparently available in February (!!!!) There are also some laptops and a new NAVI: Radeon 5600 announced. https://www.cnet.com/news/amd-unveils-r ... -ces-2020/
Now we also know it'll be available for $3,990, coming with 128 threads, up to 4.3GHz boost and 2.9GHz base and available in February.
Intel's CES presentation will start in about an hour: https://newsroom.intel.com/news/2020-ce ... eam-replay

There's some rumors for PCIe 4.0 SSDs with absurd bandwidth, but I haven't seen any confirmation of them yet.
