For Shredder, it's a pity that the free version is limited in time.
Just like Chess Openings Wizard. Hehe, back when it was called Bookup I'd use a program that would change my computer's clock so it would allow me to use it for longer
Anyway, if someone is thinking about buying Shredder GUI, go for Shredder Classic 3, later versions removed the "Continuous Display" option that is one of the things that made Shredder GUI great, but I guess new generations will not enjoy it (it's a very simple concept, just don't clean the engine's output and add new things at the bottom, very useful for when you play a game automatically and want to see the PVs of all played moves, just scroll up!)
I mostly use Fritz 17 for engine vs engine and tournaments, it's just more polished than the free ones. I also like Arena, especially for it's engine installation wizard which will allow you register an entire folder of *.exe's. The fact that other gui's require you to register each engine one at a time is the main reason I never use them. Even Fritz does that but I have done it over a period of years and each new version of Fritz uses the previous registrations.
I've used all of them, but my everyday GUI is Fritz(16)/Chessbase(12).
Second, Arena.
Third... Aquarium (to analyse)(but there are many bugs) . Fourth, Shredder, but I think I should use it more, it only doesn't work very well with my DGT board.

1.SmallFish Chess for Stockfish GUI -> Stockfish on iPad Pro
2.SmallChess Pro GUI -> Stockfish on iPad Pro
3.Stockfish Chess GUI -> Stockfish on iPad Pro
I hope to see SmallChess Pro GUI with some improvements like:
-up to 10 cores(concurrency) support for Stockfish not only 4 (4 is only a bad joke after 5 years of hardware improvements, it‘s like buying a 64 core threadripper but using only 32 cores).
-up to 6 GB Hash Size(RAM) support and not 64 MB limit (I don’t live in stone age anymore).
-without the limit of analyzing to a maximum depth of 30 moves (biggest LOL ever).
-instead Stockfish, better take a 30% speed up with Cfish or Asmfish.
-download should have 5-men syzygy tablebases with the option to download 6-men syzygy and some 7-men syzygy and not only 4-men.
-support of second engine -> Leela on CPU, but better on GPU, but better on NPU.
