I notice here:
http://abrok.eu/stockfish/
that the latest test has a VLTC entry:
VLTC

Code: Select all

http://tests.stockfishchess.org/tests/view/5de4adca5e868d334be516c1
LLR: 2.95 (-2.94,2.94) [-3.00,1.00]
Total: 42101 W: 6068 L: 5978 D: 30055 Elo +0.74
what is that?

Never mind, the link explains it:
120+1.2
I guess a five minute game with a two second increment would be called "SLCTC" for Super Long Correspondence Time Control.

It's rare that anything is tested at "VLTC".

This usually means 120+1.2, or sometimes 180+1.8. Compare to 60s+0.6s for normal "LTC" tests. While it's still between bullet and blitz, it's really long compared to what is typically used at fishtest.
