Perhaps we have lost the Forum forever
I can in no way restore it
I made a thousand different attempts

It's the official forum of the Stockfish's branch "Sugar." People use it to discuss computer chess, share engines, chess GUIs, books, databases and games.

Moderation is known to have disrespect for their users, implementing a "Thanks" system of points that people are forced to follow to be able to see some links, and delete their posts for arbitrary reasons.

I'm sorry to contradict you, but MZ forum is a very interesting site with very good action by moderators.

I agree that the moderation sucked but there was alot of interesting material that was continuously updated. It was a source of quality games for me for years. Lately I've decided to join the forum again after the owner apologies but I engaged a fight with a provocatory bookmaker and a tester and I was banned because they pissed me off and I started to reply aggressively...

In other words there was plenty of good material on a hand and frustrated persons on the other. For these reasons I can't be happy nor sad for its closure. Anyway I've seen the headers output php error when it was showing, it was regarding the members database... I suspect the site was hacked by someone who was mistreated by the admins.

BTW the fact to not have a site backup is just ridiculous.
