Your creative input would be (I suppose) in selection of the fractal equation and in the coordinates, and in the color palate.

I do think it is not a totally cut and dried situation.

I suggest to Albert that the simple solution to the dilemma is to encrypt the file and then read it with a decryption API.
Then it is simply a trade secret.

Anyway, as it turns out, you weren’t interested in knowing about your picture, it was instead a cipher for trying to get a personal opinion, but I don’t have a personal opinion on its legal status, the status either is or isn’t, independent of anything I might think.
