In this version , the "variety" function was redone, making it much more robust and it's now a simple checkbox. You literally can use either of these engines without an opening book and you hopefully will not be disappointed when the Variety function is checked. if you like opening books, you can use up to 4 books with either engine , Book 1 will be used 1st, and Book 2 will be used second, so your smaller, more defined books for a particular opening should be used first and your big wide book should be used last. All other features and functionality are retained from prior versions.

When using "Variety" ,the engine will play 200 to 300 Elo weaker than the indicated Elo - so if you want to play the engine at level Elo 1500, use Elo 1700 when using "variety". If you want to play at Elo level 2000, use Elo 2300 when using "variety". The ratings are roughly in lined with CCRL ratings which is is stronger than FIDE or USCF ratings.
In the next release, I will sync up the Elo level closer to the CCRL ratings when using Variety.
