The Fine Art of Chess [original]

Post by Lyudmil Tsvetkov »

Take a look at my new book, "The Fine Art of Chess": https://www.amazon.com/Fine-Art-Chess-L ... oks&sr=1-1
It took me almost a whole year to conceive and write.
It coule be regarded as a companion volume to "The Secret of Chess", targeting all levels of chess players.
In distinction to "The Secret of Chess", the book represents a thoroughly commented game collection, featuring 50 high-quality instructive games, annotated move by move.
Stockfish and Komodo are also featured on the pages of the book.
What could be of particular interest to computer chess fans is scrupulous opening analysis for a wide range of openings, for example why the English Opening, 1. c4 is best,
and why the Dutch Defence, 1. d4 f5?! is suboptimal, due to 2. d5!? vigorous reply.
Engine developers may benefit a bit from the theory expounded.
