XBoard 4.9.0, Ruby Shogi and Shuriken for Ubuntu 64-bit

Post by Norbert Raimund Leisner »

Hello,

can anyone of you you build a precompiled XBoard Interface 4.9.0 https://www.gnu.org/software/xboard/wha ... index.html that runs successfully on Ubuntu 64-bit http://releases.ubuntu.com/19.04/ including Shuriken https://github.com/SamuraiDangyo/Shuriken and Ruby Shogi https://github.com/SamuraiDangyo/RubyShogi please? I am not a programmer and have mainly Windows 7. The Google Drive for private persons contains 15 GB free disk space cf. https://www.google.com/intl/en-GB_ALL/drive/

If the problem of a Windows compile concerning Ruby Shogi and Shuriken can be accomplished, please let me know, too.

Thank you in advance.

If you have only Windows, what use would a Linux compile to you? And if you have Linux 19.04, why don't you simply install XBoard from the repository? The distro maintainers should already have made the compile you request. And if you don't know how to install that, you would certainly not know how to install the version made by anyone here.
