Galjoen 0.40 released

Post by Werner Taelemans » Tue Aug 27, 2019 7:51 pm

There was a lot of refactoring, and several bugs were fixed.
This version is tactically much stronger than v_0.39.
Overall, I expect a +60 Elo.

Great! I am looking forward to testing it as soon as I can (which is very soon).

I also look forward to running it at chess960.

For me anyway, this does not play chess960. Weird evaluations followed by the game terminating with an illegal move.

See above.

I had the same issues both in Cutechess GUI and ChessGUI

OK, thanks for testing. I'll take a look at it. Do you know the illegal move in your first example? And the initial fen in your second example?
