Some very important changes.
I found next bugs in "Stockfish 2.1.1" and now I hope Sting should work in a stable way (without crashing).

This version starts with threads = 1 and Hash = 1024M. I hope it is not a problem.

That's great. I'd like to know more about what you changed.

Hash = 1024 is definitively a problem, I usually have many engines loaded to they're sent to the swap file.

There is nothing new to explain users.

Load Sting first and change hash to your liked value.
BTW. I recommend to use Sting with minimum 1024M hash.

Can you provide an example where this provides an improvement? I haven't been able to see any engine improving with more than 128MB hash, and even improvement from 64MB to 128MB was negligible. But perhaps Sting is different and it's an engine that benefits from giving it 8 times more hash than I do to others.

Of course, Sting gives a possibility to change the starting size of hash.
I recommend 1024M only to a deep analysis.
Seriously, if the big starting size of hash can be a problem, I will change it in the next version. :)

As long as I don't see any evidence of improvement from jumping from 128MB to 1GB RAM, I'll continue to use 128MB for all engines, this isn't specific to Sting.

Thanks, that would be great!
