Who knows if that account is real or troll. Anyway, here is more material:

Maybe 'Team Lichess Bots' is a reliable group. It looks more promising than 'Half-Life 3 confirmed' stuff. Like in The X-Files: 'I want to believe'.

I really wish this were true.. .Unfortunately, I HIGHLY doubt it. Makes absolutely no sense.

Maybe one day though...

Wow! Contempt 10 Houdini 6 is my favorite when it comes to style! Let's hope this is true and we can get something new to enjoy. Maybe, a new number one engine for a change...

And, let's hope it's not Houdini 4 all over again... (which was higher elo and no style, no reason to use the thing...)

Excuse me for my skepticism but if you are actually Houdart, is it possible to give us a release date for Houdini 7?
There are quite a few people waiting eagerly for the release. :)

A couple of months should do it. I have still got a few nasty buys to iron out, but the main evaluation and functional changes are all in place. Say around late September/ early November.

But why only "WhiteElo "2324" ?? H6.03 has over 3400 ELO

Code: Select all

Use Houdini 7.01 instead of the latest Stockfish if you want the strongest engine ^_^

(Being released soon)
This is proof enough for me that it's fake, since 6.01 was a bugfix release.
I very much doubt Houdart would call his bot "Houdini_x64bit".
The way he replies is very much not Houdart either.

There is no Houdini 7 on the way.
