I recently in a search of Pulsar chess in google noticed chess programming wiki has a pulsar page, https://www.chessprogramming.org/Pulsar Who does this site? this Norbert's site? They do a better job of explaining the program that i do on my pulsar page so i added a link on top of the pulsar page http://www.lanternchess.com/pulsar/ and on the support page linked from the iOS app store http://www.lanternchess.com/PulsarChess.html

Now if i had one critique i think the image on the pulsar page wiki is excellent. I'm fine if it stays It captures the program. But we have done a graphic to represent the program which is similar. The pulsar star energy is part of the graphic. Knight piece or the mysterious horse in the heart of a pulsar. the graphic is at the pulsar main page and can be resized etc we do it for the different presentations. On the other hand the current graphic is great. I'm not voting against it only thinking out loud.

It's interesting. They have critical posts on pulsar going back to 2003 and covering every years period. I see now in 2017 in the release of mac console pulsar, mikeb said he played pulsar iOS. I hear you guys handles and i sort of remember things but it gets scattered.

The web site graphic was done by Nick Barfuss a friend and former colleague of 4 years who worked on the art team. He also did hte openingtree icon. But the pulsar icon was done recently this year while we had both left the company and the openingtree icon in 2017 when we both worked for the company. He had an idea like a lot of fire and electronic effects. I said our current icon was the knight and i was hoping to keep the knight in it. He said yea the horse, mysterious , commanding. And i suggested maybe the knight with a pulsar in the sky above. And he liked that. He did the horse in the heart of the pulsar with the flames as he originally described emanating from the drawing.

One of the main contributors of the CPW site is Gerd Isenberg. You can click on "View history" for each single page to see who made which changes when.

Yes i checked revisions, he did the pulsar page. I looked at some other engine pages and it looks like this is a style they use to give a history of forum posts over time to share engine history. Seems generally well sourced the chess programming wiki and rises above a page that more links by creating coherent stories. Thanks for getting back on who does the wiki site. I see they accept contributors as well so it can grow beyond a few people.

Hello adams161,

I write lists/links here: http://www.computer-chess.org/doku.php (except mainly Chess Engine List, Engine Download List - both are edited directly by Ron himself) and have nothing to do with Chessprogramming Wiki , because I am only an engine tester. CCWiki is more or less a compilation of computerchess hardware/software, but no discussion forum about programming languages. etc.

Regards,
Norbert

found the engine page http://www.computer-chess.org/doku.php? ... ngine_list Pulsar was there on 2009 release which i guess is basically the release date the mac and linux releases in 2017 didn't change code other than to adapt the language in cases to use non windows programming functions or calls. thanks
