Nose Breaker

I was just told that "Lomonosov" means "nose breaker". I have always admired that great work done on the Lomonosov 7-piece tablebases, and think this is a great name for them, although I know they were named for the university they were computed at.

quite an interesting character, predicted the existence of Antartica ( as many others did as well, but his logic was the most sound, the source of icebergs in the Southern Pacific ) even before it was discovered ...
