just a thought …
if for every action … there is an equal and opposite reaction …
then wouldn't it follow that Black can equalize any move by white …
your data is interesting …
seems like there is more of a psychological mode in play …
then there is a scientific one …
when it comes to humans winning with white …
unless chess goes down to the quantum level …
Newton prevails when it comes to the forces in chess …

Lc0 is just the latest distraction. But for me it is still all about chess, and chess is never off topic.

As a chess player. I always prefer to be white. Logic tells me most likely there should be no difference with best play.
