Artificial intelligence 2019

Post by Father »

Febrero 28 del año 2019.

Deear brothers and sisters who live inside the blue planet.
Special greetings to the rulers of the nations.

I want these short words to reach their hearts, and their intelligences: “The time has come to be very careful not to cross the line of no return.” ... Otherwise, the synergy of purification will inevitably embrace us.

I wonder: Is not this the way already marked and the irremediable consequence of our stubbornness to walk the paths of sin? Do you not realize that the words of the carpenter's son have the strength of eternal life?

The game of chess of the history of the humanity continues being developed on land air and sea. But the real and most important battle occurs within our hearts.

Whom do you want to follow at? what captain to serve?
I want to follow the God of love, master of humanity history, Supreme Judge and God. I have strength in my ephemeral being, which soon, like ships, clouds and shadows, will cease to exist for this earth, becouse of the times flyes and i am clouse to 59 years old, and the time has a limit and my flag it is clouse to mark my game over.

In the meantime I would like to play a few games of chess against alpha zero and the garfeares and softwares that you would very well like to face against me.

God bless you.

Best regards,

Pablo Ignacio Restrepo

I must say … you write rather well …
I too am near your age … 63 …
looks like there have been times in human history where we have gone past the point of no return …
Manhattan project comes to mind …
the bomb was realized … built … then used …
artificial intelligence may be another sort of the same thing … this one … will be more of a black box …
harder to see the consequences … at least with the bomb …
they had a reasonable assurance of what the damage would be …
I seem to be more concerned about eating healthy foods than I am the end times …
not sure what to think about that …
I do agree life has always been about the battle of the heart …
I guess that is why we love stories so much …
following God does not seem like an easy thing to do …
maybe it always was meant be that way …
anyway … nice words ...

Computerchess is rarely about artificial intelligence.
It is mainly about artificial stupidity.
The programs compute millions of positions in a second.
This is nothing an intelligent life form would ever do.

The programs do not play chess. They calculate chess. They have no clue about chess.
But they have a search tree made by millions of nodes.

This is artificial stupidity.

Instead of making the engines more intelligent the programmers used the brute force of the hardware to
Make the engines more stupid.
What seems like a fairy tale today may be reality tomorrow.
Here we have a fairy tale of the day after tomorrow....

A heretic, stone him ;-)

...the humans do not play chess,
they have no clue about chess,
they just have some billion neurons which interact in an electro-chemical way,
able to perform some pre-trained pattern matching.

Having programmed a chess engine i can say this is very true. I'e recently put stockfish into one of my apps but i have no illusions that i have added simply the best calculator product. What a classical chess program does is no more than a refinement of the calculator app.

Now these alpha zero or lee lee apps that i hear about are something else. They do develop a learning style. See stockfish has no learning style. It's simply modification to code after extensive test games / suites are run. This is an iterative research and development process like how Edison made the lightbulb. The AI learning programs are Tesla.

Father if you want to play something close to Alpha Zero let's just meet on Playchess and I'll load up Lc0. Simples.

Warewalf,
Sure, I would like to play in playchess engines room against something like alpha zero. Then we could see if it is really an engine about human beings have or not has a chance in man versus machine.
Best regards,
Pablo

David versus Goliat, man versus machine 2019

Post by Father »

Thanks you Warewolf for your invitation to fight chess
computers ... the representation of the machines installed in modern hardware and innovative silicone brains.
Y oday my being, my body, my mind, and my soul, have confronted for the first time the fearsome CstormFish 1.2x64; The electronic beast, its swarm of stingers, horns, and hooks, failed to destroy the anti-computer wall blanket.
The algorithm of artificial intelligence was not enough to overcome the fabric of the algorithm of the soul devised by the imagination of the human being.
While the beast calculated 24.102 KN / s trying to penetrate the invisible field of soul energy, my brain reasoned in terms of strategic priority.
This game of chess is a clear example of the battle of tactics versus strategy, of man versus machine.
I offer this battle in thanksgiving to the God and Creator of the Universe, in thanksgiving for having created us human beings as beings with an inherent right to freedom and intelligence that we are tested in the free exercise of our will.
Our freedom is sacred, and the regimes that usurper it, will never be able to tie our souls whose essence is to be free.
Arrogance, Vanity, Haughtiness and hatred is the essence of tyrants and tyrannies, love is the essence of the kingdom of heaven.
I will put my game, please help me with the motions and
Graphics.
Best regards,
Pablo Ignacio Restrepo
