SSD prices are falling like stones to the bottom of the pool

Fast Sata III SSD for $100:

Absurdly fast PCIe M.2 gumstick SSD for $145:

Not absurd to imagine 7 man tablebase files on PCIe SSD, if you can find some system to hold that many sticks (about $3000 for the SSDs).
I have seen cards that will hold 4, but you would need something special to hold 20 sticks. I saw an article on such a thing once, but it may have been some custom built cage for an ultra high-speed server room. I can't find the article any more.

Nothing strange, QLC is getting into full swing, everyone is trying to empty stocks of TLC.
