SSD prices are falling like stones to the bottom of the pool

Fast Sata III SSD for $100:
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product. ... -_-Product

Absurdly fast PCIe M.2 gumstick SSD for $145:

Not absurd to imagine 7 man tablebase files on PCIe SSD, if you can find some system to hold that many sticks (about $3000 for the SSDs).
I have seen cards that will hold 4, but you would need something special to hold 20 sticks. I saw an article on such a thing once, but it may have been some custom built cage for an ultra high-speed server room. I can't find the article any more.
Taking ideas is not a vice, it is a virtue. We have another word for this. It is called learning.
But sharing ideas is an even greater virtue. We have another word for this. It is called teaching.

Nothing strange, QLC is getting into full swing, everyone is trying to empty stocks of TLC.
