GURL3 released

FWIW I have released GURL3 today at rwbc.

GURL was the 'Grand unified rating list' invented by Vincent Lejeune. (a forum search will reveal more)
Around two years ago I released GURL2 and based on this, I added now around 1.3 Mio games again.
The total number is now 7.7 Mio games. The calculation was done by ordo with 10 simuls.

For those with slow internet connection there is a download with the csv file and an ods file with
the tables, which were imported into googlesheets, available again. (from the main rwbc site)

There are tables with all entries, but players with games <100 and error >59.9 are marked with grey background.
Finally there are tables already filtered with the above criteria and filtered for single core too.

Corrected 8 hidden double entries and recalculated and updated everything.

In me sense, from the SSDF list, you could add games on "486/50-66 MHz" and "486/33 MHz" with same CPU for both opponents.
This will add some interesting oldies.

My next goal is to merge 2 rating lists : SSDF and Aktivschach Elo Liste.

Nice graph ! I didn't see it before.

Another very interesting graph would be : "The strongest engine month by month from 1984 to 2019". Or evolution of the "versions of top engines by family" (ChessTiger, ChessMaster, Fritz, Genius, HIARCS, Junior, MChess Pro, Rebel, Rybka, Shredder, ...).
From 1984 to 2003, the SSDF list is a good reference : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swedish_C ... nd_leaders
From 2004 to 2019, the ratings from CEGT and CCRL is good to get accurate ratings on an AMD 2.2 GHz (this CPU was released in the end of 2003).
Based in this numbers, may be we can extrapolate the hardware improvement from 2004 to 2019 on a second curve. A nice showing would be a video like that : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2DHpW79w0Y

Note : in an engine family, a rating progress can be cause by : 1) a new version is released 2) a new CPU is available (let's focus on CPUs used by the SSDF).
