After a long hiatus from computer chess, I got interested again with all the Alpha Zero news that was flooding the news and downloaded LC0. I have to say that along with Komodo MC look very very interesting. I always wondered why someone would not make a MC search on a GPU that could be used by the AB engine to help decide which lines to search. I was reading up on NN and I saw this from Intel. Apparently they are now interested in AI and plan to release special cards just for that. I wonder how this will affect these NN chess engines!

Re: Intel getting on the NN bandwagon?
Nice read. I wonder what the cost will be and will it be applicable to chess specifically
