7-piece Syzygys

I just read of an 1-2 point elo increase by using the 7-piece syzygys. If so, this should be in statistical error margin.

So is it safe to say that these tablebases are only useful in analysing positions but not in our common playchess-server-engine-match?

Do you think 8 piece would be any different, as they are more evenly matched. ?

Schwartmann: permanent brain ain't available in engine vs engine over playchess interface. Totally stupid by chessbase.
