Stockfish 9 on iOS ?

Hello,
Is there an iOS app that uses Stockfish 9 as an engine?
I think most are with version 8 or older...

Nice app. How do you know it's using SF 9? (Mine just says "Stockfish" on the screen and there's no engine options under settings I can see)

SF 9 on the new iPad Pro will be *far* stronger than any human on the planet, that's for sure. Here are some comparisons of the A12X cpu to other commonly used CPUs:

In reality, SF9 even on an iPad that was made in the last few years that was already true.

It would be nice to have a decent chess app though which can do everything. Apple has the speed but the apps are lacking, for chess.

Just to have the default Stockfish app which in my opinion is the best for ease of use and information compared to SmallFish which is a pain to use for analysis. I think the original SF app is still stuck on version 6.

Agreed. An update to the Stockfish app would be amazing
