Multipv is enabled with --multipv=<number of pvs> command line flag or MultiPV uci option.

Tested with Aquarium 2018, CB 14, Fritz 16 guis.

Since you are the only where Lc0 crashes and stops responding, my advice for you will be to stop using it....
